Instructions for Grant Application form

Applicants are requested to download and complete "QUAD A FOR KIDS GRANT APPLICATION FORM."

• Open the electronic form with a word processing program such as Microsoft Word.
  
  
• Make sure the cursor is on the response field for the first question and type in the information requested.
  
  
• Then use the tab key to move to the next field.
  
  
• To skip a question, just use the tab key again. Hitting "shift" + tab moves you back one field.
  
  
• For yes/no questions, click on the appropriate box with your mouse to insert (or remove) an "x".
  
  
• The form is protected so you will only be able to type into the response fields.

The Application Forms lists six specific outcome areas (participation, continuity of participation, exposure to role models/mentors, monitoring/improvement of academic results, behavior modification and life skill development, and parent/guardian involvement) for the programs we fund.   For ongoing programs, we would expect that over time you will strengthen your efforts in each area and start to develop the components your program lacks. We will gladly work with you to help you in doing so.

Quad A for Kids processes applications three times a year.

• The submission deadlines are April 1, July 1 and December 1.
  
  
• We review applications internally during the month.
  
  
• The Board of Trustees makes final funding decisions the following month.
  
  
• The soonest an application can be paid is six weeks after the three submission dates. Grants are typically in the $2K to $10K range.
