Why do we call ourselves Quad A?

When Joe U Posner founded Quad A for Kids in 1992, he envisioned an organization that helped the youth of Rochester succeed by learning academic and behavioral skills from activity based programs.

Coaches, teachers, and mentors in a range of activities, many of which had an academic component, would help these youths grow.

In short, Joe combined Athletics and Arts in a way that lead to Academic Achievement.   And thus, the four A’s of our name!
