To: Programs seeking support from Quad A for Kids Quad A for Kids primarily provides our own after-school programming for children in the city of Rochester. We do supplement that work by supporting some after-school and summer programs that engage youth in constructive activities with caring adults. We seek programs that provide worthwhile activities while linking the kids with mentors and coaches who provide role models. We look for programs that reinforce good behavior and school academics. We only fund activities that take place in the city of Rochester, NY. Our top priorities are (1) after-school programs in Schools #4, #30, #34 and (2) community based activities that we funded last year. We do not fund capital programs, endowment campaigns, or non-501(c)3 programs unless affiliated with the above schools. Additional activity requirements include: Please complete the application in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word. Please complete all sections in a concise manner (fifty words or less.) We review applications internally during the month; the Board of Trustees makes final funding decisions the following month. The soonest an application can be paid is six weeks after the three submission dates. Grants are typically in the $2K to $10K range.
